U4GM Reports on Diablo 4's August 19 Status

Diablo 4's live game remains on Season 14, Season of Death Awakening, with Patch 3.1.3 still the latest update covered by the available reports. Released as Build 73224, it's a small maintenance patch rather than a class-balancing pass. Players checking their D4 Gold options or looking for a fresh patch should know that no later update has been confirmed for August 19, 2026. One console report lists version 1.116.000 on August 13, but that appears to be a rollout difference, not a separate balance patch.

What Patch 3.1.3 Actually Fixes

The most useful change is tied to Season Rank III. Set Fire to the Beacons now tracks Escalation Nightmare Dungeons with the Ruptures affix correctly. Before this fix, some players completed the right activity and received no progress. The patch doesn't change dungeon rewards, enemy strength, or the Ruptures mechanic itself. It simply makes the objective recognise the completion. There's no confirmation that earlier failed runs will be credited automatically.

Encounter Access and Visual Problems

War Plans can now teleport players into Infernal Hordes on difficulties below Torment without failing to launch. Echo of Mephisto also received a practical fix: party members who arrive after the fight begins can use a portal to reach the third stage. The Corrupted Reaper has several visual corrections as well. Resummoning it removes the previous corpse, Druid's Petrify no longer bends its wings, and Necromancer Shadow skills shouldn't hide the boss model. A Warlock using Dark Prison's Chain Aura Variant should also appear normally to other players.

Deathmask Poison Flurry Rogue

The featured Season 14 Rogue setup plays very differently from a cautious ranged build. Deathmask Poison Flurry fights up close, spends Energy quickly, then uses health as fuel once Energy runs out. Deathmask of Nirmitruq lets Flurry continue at that point, costing 8% of maximum health per cast while adding 50-70% damage and 50% attack speed. That's a lot of pressure on one health bar. Dark Shroud helps reduce incoming damage, while Concealment breaks crowd control and restores both Energy and health. Poison Imbuement keeps damage ticking after the initial Flurry burst, and Shadow Clone adds another offensive window.

Gear Choices and Practical Limits

Aspect of Encircling Blades is central because it gives Flurry area coverage and a 25-40% damage bonus. Aspect of Stolen Vigor helps replace the health being spent, while Aspect of Disobedience builds Armor during sustained attacks. Shroud of False Death boosts passive ranks and rewards leaving Stealth, and Ring of Starless Skies improves attack speed, Core Skill damage, and resource generation. Penitent Greaves add movement speed and Chill. You'll quickly notice that the build needs timing, not just damage. Keep Dark Shroud active, save Concealment for a dangerous moment, and don't replace the healing aspect unless you've got another recovery plan. Exact Paragon boards, glyphs, Tempering rolls, and Masterworking priorities aren't confirmed by the supplied material, so check those details carefully before you buy Diablo 4 materials.
